Position Overview:
Vision Landscaping is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Project Foreman to lead landscape installation projects for residential and commercial properties throughout the area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, managing projects, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality results that make a visible impact. As a Foreman, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily job site activities, leading a crew, operating equipment safely, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to our high standards.
What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise landscape installation crews to ensure quality workmanship and productivity. Safely drive company vehicles and tow trailers to and from job sites. Review daily work orders and project requirements with supervisors. Ensure trucks are properly stocked with tools, materials, and equipment. Complete service tickets, job notes, and material tracking using company mobile applications. Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management. Operate landscape equipment safely and maintain a safe work environment. Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule. Maintain clean, organized vehicles, equipment, and work areas. Uphold company standards for professionalism, customer service, and quality.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape installation or related fieldwork. Previous experience leading or managing a crew. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Working knowledge of irrigation systems, plant materials, and landscape lighting. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using mobile technology and apps for daily reporting. Commitment to workplace safety and quality craftsmanship.
Preferred:
Experience with masonry, pavers, retaining walls, or other hardscape installations. Equipment operation experience. Bilingual skills are a plus. Why Join Vision Landscaping?
