Job Description
Solex Contracting, Inc. is a California-based construction company specializing in telecommunications system installation, retail tenant improvements, and ground-up construction. We perform projects nationwide and are looking for experienced telecommunications professionals to join our team. Summary We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Construction Foreman to lead field crews and oversee the installation, testing, and completion of wireless telecom sites. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong tower, rooftop, antenna, and RF testing experience. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate crews on telecom construction sites Install antennas, mounts, coax, fiber, grounding, and related equipment Read blueprints, RF sheets, and construction drawings Complete redlines, field reports, testing documentation, and closeout packages Perform and oversee PIM, sweep, fiber, and other required testing Troubleshoot antenna, cable, connector, and LTE systems Track crew hours, job progress, and project needs Coordinate scheduling and site needs with Project and Construction Managers Maintain jobsite safety and ensure proper use of climbing and fall-protection equipment Train and supervise crew members Requirements Minimum 2 years of telecom construction experience Minimum 1 year of crew leadership or foreman experience Tower and rooftop climbing experience Proficiency with Anritsu, PIM, and fiber testing equipment Ability to read construction drawings and RF documentation Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work at significant heights Willingness to travel and work varying schedules, including nights or weekends as needed Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Life and disability insurance Supplemental insurance Paid sick and vacation time Employee referral program Bonus opportunities
