Construction Lead — Grading & Underground Utilities We're seeking an experienced Construction Lead to oversee grading and underground utility work on active construction projects. The right candidate is a hands-on leader who can keep crews productive, coordinate equipment and materials, maintain quality and safety standards, and keep work moving according to plan.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily grading and underground utility operations Supervise field crews and coordinate equipment operators Read site plans, elevations, and utility layouts Manage trenching, pipe installation, backfill, compaction, and finish grading Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers Maintain job-site safety, quality, and production schedules Track materials, equipment needs, and daily progress

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience leading grading and underground utility crews Strong knowledge of excavation, storm drain, sewer, water, and dry utilities Ability to read and interpret civil plans Experience operating or directing heavy equipment is preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities for growth.

Pay:

$29.73 - $35.81 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
