Full-Time Pay:
$45-$55/hour DOE + overtime We are an established Los Angeles electrical contractor looking for an experienced Working Electrical Foreman to lead crews and manage projects in the field. This is a hands-on, working foreman role. Expect to spend 70-80% of your time with your tools on alongside your crew, with the remainder spent on coordination, scheduling, and quality control. Responsibilities Lead and manage electricians and apprentices in the field Plan daily work and assign manpower Read, mark up, and work from blueprints, specifications, and one-lines Coordinate with project managers, GCs, inspectors, and other trades Track materials and forecast needs to avoid shortages before they impact the schedule Maintain quality, productivity, and jobsite safety Troubleshoot field issues and make decisions without constant supervision Write up RFIs, change orders, and daily reports Keep projects moving on schedule Perform electrical work alongside the crew as required Requirements California General Electrician License (required) 5+ years of commercial electrical field experience Proven experience leading a crew of 2-6 electricians for 2+ years Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must pass a background check OSHA trained Strong understanding of NEC and California electrical requirements Ability to read and fluidly mark up electrical blueprints, plans, and specifications Expert-level conduit bending Strong troubleshooting skills — this is a core requirement of the role, not a bonus Comfortable with iPads and digital blueprints; able to write RFIs, change orders, and daily reports Strong communication with GCs, inspectors, superiors, and other trades Accountability — owns mistakes and moves forward Punctual, leads by example, sets the standard for the crew Comfortable ordering materials and forecasting needs for upcoming days
Compensation:
$45-$55/hour depending on experience. Overtime available. Additional compensation and benefits discussed based on experience. Immediate opening.
