Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Contractor/Subcontractor to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves leading project teams, managing budgets, interpreting construction plans, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Responsibilities Provide overall project leadership, coordinating efforts among subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution. Manage construction budgets effectively, monitoring expenses and controlling costs to stay within financial parameters. Review, interpret, and implement construction plans and specifications to guide project execution accurately. Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, ensuring timely progression of all project phases. Oversee daily site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained. Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues promptly. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion. Experience Proven experience as a General Contractor or Subcontractor in commercial or residential construction projects. Demonstrated ability to lead construction teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong knowledge of construction processes, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse project stakeholders. Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
