Job Description

Job Summary Elevated Line Works is a new and growing powerline construction contractor. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Line Foreman to join our team dedicated to maintaining and repairing high-voltage electrical systems. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the instalation, troubleshooting, and servicing overhead and underground utility electrical systems, ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of energy to our customers. This position offers an opportunity to travel and work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations with the crew, keep track of daily production and crew hours, as well as maintaining a good relationship with REA management and crews. Install, maintain, and repair overhead line systems, underground cables, and utility electrical infrastructure using appropriate rigging techniques and equipment. Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on utility systems to identify faults and implement effective solutions. Operate bucket trucks, and climbing techniques safely while working at heights on utility poles or structures. Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment related to the utility industry Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring, cabling, and low-voltage connections in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction site plans accurately to guide installation and repair activities. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently to ensure safety during all field service operations involving electrical systems. Perform utility locating, tree trimming near power lines, and other maintenance activities critical for system reliability. Maintain accurate job documentation and participate in daily safety briefings Coordinate with project managers, foreman, and utility partners Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Lineman or verified equivalent experience Demonstrated proficiency in rigging, electrical blueprint reading, and using specialized tools pertaining to the industry Hands-on experience working with high-voltage electrical overhead and underground systems, and field service operations. Ability to climb poles and towers safely using climbing gear and operate bucket trucks or bucket lifts confidently. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, NESC standards, OSHA, utility locating techniques, and proper PPE use at all times during fieldwork. Experience working on construction sites or industrial environments with an emphasis on safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead a crew in the absence of a foreman Valid Class A CDL Pass a pre-employment Drug screening and adhere to DOT random drug and alcohol testing. Ability to Travel to various locations for storm work and other projects Compensation and Benefits Competitive industry wages Per Diem when Traveling Opportunity for advancement as the company grows
