Job Description
ROTHA Contracting Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Foreman to oversee direct daily supervision and field coordination of labor crews, subcontractors, and equipment on-site. Key Responsibilities Direct and schedule day-to-day operations of field crews and subcontractors; delegate work tasks to maximize daily production. Enforce company safety policies, conduct regular worksite assessments, lead daily toolbox safety talks, and maintain full compliance with OSHA standards. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to execute work plans accurately. Review and approve daily timecards, equipment logs, material deliveries, and field reports. Inspect ongoing work to ensure quality meets job specifications; resolve field errors immediately. Coordinate material deliveries and heavy equipment logistics on-site to minimize downtime. Maintain continuous communication with the Project Managers regarding progress updates, site conditions, and/or operational delays. Qualifications & Requirements 3+ years of hands-on bridge and or/ heavy highway construction experience, with a proven track record in a supervisory or crew lead. Ability to work on active job sites outdoors in varying weather conditions, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as required.
Pay:
