About Coastal Flooring Systems Coastal Flooring Systems is a commercial specialty contractor specializing in: Resinous Flooring Systems Polished Concrete Waterproofing Traffic Coatings Moisture Mitigation Concrete Restoration We serve General Contractors, Developers, Property Managers, Healthcare Facilities, Hospitality, Industrial, Education, and Commercial clients throughout Florida. Position Overview The Lead Installer / Foreman is responsible for leading field crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This position combines hands-on installation with leadership, planning, quality control, and communication. You'll coordinate daily field operations, mentor installers, communicate with project management, and ensure every project reflects the standards Coastal Flooring Systems is known for. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who leads by example. Someone who shows up prepared, takes ownership of the jobsite, communicates professionally, and takes pride in producing exceptional work. The ideal candidate has extensive experience installing commercial resinous flooring systems, polished concrete, waterproofing, or related specialty flooring systems and enjoys teaching others while maintaining high expectations for safety, quality, and productivity. This role is for someone who wants to build a long-term career while helping develop the next generation of installers. Responsibilities Field Leadership Lead and supervise installation crews on commercial projects. Plan daily work activities to maximize efficiency and productivity. Delegate work effectively while maintaining quality standards. Train, mentor, and develop crew members. Promote a positive, professional, and accountable jobsite culture. Installation Install commercial resinous flooring systems, moisture mitigation systems, polished concrete, waterproofing systems, traffic coatings, and concrete repair systems. Interpret project drawings, specifications, and manufacturer installation requirements. Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards. Project Execution Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers and Operations. Monitor production schedules and manpower requirements. Identify field challenges early and communicate solutions proactively. Complete daily reports, progress updates, and job documentation. Coordinate material deliveries and verify inventory before installation. Quality Control Inspect all work before project completion. Maintain clean and organized jobsites. Minimize punch list items through proactive quality inspections. Ensure completed work exceeds client expectations. Equipment & Safety Maintain company equipment and tools in excellent working condition. Enforce OSHA requirements and company safety policies. Conduct daily safety discussions and inspections. Ensure proper PPE and safe work practices are followed at all times. Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of commercial resinous flooring, polished concrete, waterproofing, or specialty concrete restoration experience. Minimum 2 years leading installation crews. Strong understanding of commercial concrete preparation methods. Experience with grinding, shot blasting, moisture testing, crack repair, and resinous flooring systems. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong leadership and communication skills. Valid driver's license. Preferred Experience with Sherwin-Williams, Sika, Tremco, Westcoat, Dur-A-Flex, General Polymers, or similar systems. OSHA 30 Certification. Forklift, aerial lift, or equipment certifications.
