Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead and oversee electrical construction projects within the commercial sector. This role involves managing electrical crews, coordinating project schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Duties Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to specifications. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide installation and troubleshooting efforts. Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Prolog to ensure timely completion of tasks. Manage procurement, contracts, and change orders while maintaining strict adherence to project budgets and timelines. Conduct quality control inspections, safety audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review construction drawings, resolve technical issues, and facilitate smooth project execution. Oversee crew management including training on construction safety regulations, supervising daily activities, and managing workforce productivity. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting to ensure system integrity. Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, safety incidents, inspection reports, and project logs using construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam. Ensure all work complies with local codes, industry standards, and company policies related to construction safety management. Experience Proven experience in commercial electrical construction with a strong background in supervising teams on large-scale projects. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and project scheduling methods. Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or Primavera P3, HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools. Demonstrated understanding of OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations applicable to electrical work environments. Hands-on experience with construction site safety management practices and quality control procedures. Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to manage multiple crews effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Previous roles involving managing contracts, budgeting responsibilities, and overseeing project timelines within the commercial sector. Construction site experience emphasizing electrical systems installation, troubleshooting with ohmmeters or similar testing devices.
