Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Painting Specialist, where your expertise will bring vibrant visions to life on diverse projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality painting work across commercial and residential sites, ensuring every surface is finished to perfection. Your attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to manage multiple tasks will drive the success of our projects and uphold our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:
Lead and work alongside a crew of 2-6 painters on active jobsites Read plans and finish schedules; verify colors, sheens, and specified products before work begins Plan daily work, order materials, write schedules, and keep jobs on schedule and within budget Perform and inspect surface prep, priming, and finish application on drywall, waterproofing, stucco, CMU, metal, and wood Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades Enforce safety requirements, maintain clean work areas, and complete punch lists Track crew hours and report daily progress via daily reports
Qualifications:
5+ years painting experience, including 2+ years leading a crew Strong knowledge of coating systems, prep methods, and spray/roll/brush application Experience with waterproofing applications — elastomeric coatings, sealants, caulking, and traffic coatings — is a strong plus Comfortable with lifts, scaffolding, and ladders; OSHA 10 or 30 preferred Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Keys conditions OSHA-10 or similar safety training, familiarity with coastal/hurricane-resistant construction, and experience on commercial or multifamily projects are preferred; reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
