The project Foreman is responsible for hourly and daily activities of the employees assigned to the project or his/her portion of the project. Job Opening is in Orlando Essential Functions Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors Recruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials Work Environment This job operates in various outdoor locations in any type of weather. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise is to be expected. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Employee must be able to work overhead, climb ladders, operate hand and power tools. Some work may be at heights up to and exceeding 90 feet and may be in confined spaces. Required Education and Experience Requires a minimum of 7 years trade experience.
