Job Description
I & E Construction is a fast-growing, family-owned, full-service general contractor seeking an experienced Service Technician (Exterior Envelope) to join our team. Position Overview:
The Lead Service Technician supports exterior envelope service and repair work by coordinating daily field activities, directing service technicians, and ensuring work is executed correctly and efficiently. This role balances active field involvement with coordination, scheduling, documentation, and communication to deliver high‑quality exterior repairs across a variety of projects.Responsibilities:
Division Exterior Service & Repair Leadership Lead and support exterior service and repair work involving stucco (traditional and EIFS), siding, masonry, flashing, waterproofing, windows, doors, roofing interfaces, and related exterior systems. Assist with diagnosing exterior issues including water intrusion, material failures, and construction defects, and guide appropriate repair methods. Provide day‑to‑day field leadership by directing work activities and supporting service technicians. Planning, Execution & Quality Control Plan and execute service work by reviewing scopes, photos, and site conditions and adjusting repair approaches as needed in the field. Perform quality control inspections to ensure repairs meet company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes. Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing field feedback and supporting best practices in exterior envelope repairs. Communication & Documentation Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, inspectors, and project stakeholders while on site. Ensure accurate and timely completion of job-site documentation, including service tickets, daily logs, and photo documentation. Support effective coordination between field teams and internal stakeholders. Safety, Tools & Equipment Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Maintain service vehicles, tools, equipment, and materials in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Qualifications Experience performing exterior cladding, building envelope, or service repair work. Working knowledge of stucco, siding, masonry, flashing, waterproofing, windows, doors, roofing interfaces, and related exterior systems. Ability to lead in the field and provide clear direction and hands‑on guidance to technicians. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and long‑term performance. Comfortable communicating with customers, coworkers, inspectors, and project stakeholders. Safety‑focused with experience following jobsite safety requirements. Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple tasks in an active field environment.BENEFITS
