Our ideal candidate has an aptitude for precision and eye for detail.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans. Perform carpentry work according to plans and specifications. Measure, cut, and verify layout dimensions. Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment. Ensure manpower and resources are adequate. Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met. Work with Superintendent to resolve problems when they arise. Report on progress to Superintendent.Requirements:
Proven experience as a construction foreman. Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines. Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Ability to communicate and report effectively- bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Aptitude in math. Problem solving abilities. High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade.Job Type:
