Job Description

C-Miles Construction is seeking a site foreman to run a crew in Panama City, FL. Applicant must be able to read plans, shoot grade, perform layout, set well points, perform all types of earth work and be proficient in operating a bulldozer, loader, grader, etc. Foreman will manage a crew of 2 - 5 people and will often function in the capacity of the lead operator for the crew. Foreman will be expected to continually inspect work site for potential hazards and safety concerns.
Qualification Requirements:
Education & Experience:
This position is not entry level and requires previous experience as a grade foreman. Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with management, fellow employees and owner. Minimum 3-5 years experience required.
Physical Demands:
The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by a grade foreman to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least 8 hours per day. Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including the activities of other employees and the operation of stationary and mobile equipment. Must be able to climb on and off heavy equipment safely. Frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather.
