We are exploring the launch of a residential plumbing company in the Panama City/Bay County area and are looking for an experienced Florida licensed plumbing contractor to help build and oversee the plumbing operation. This is not a license-rental position. We're looking for someone who wants to be actively involved in building a quality plumbing company while leaving much of the business development, marketing and administrative side to an experienced business owner. Initial focus will be residential new construction, remodeling and investor/builder projects, with service plumbing added as the company grows.

Ideal candidate:

Holds an active Florida Certified Plumbing Contractor license and is able/eligible to qualify a business Significant residential plumbing experience Strong understanding of Florida plumbing code, permitting and inspections Comfortable supervising plumbers/helpers and ensuring quality workmanship Interested in mentoring and developing younger plumbers Wants to focus more on plumbing operations and less on marketing, bookkeeping and chasing customers Entrepreneurial mindset

Opportunity:

Flexible structure depending on the right candidate, including salary/guaranteed compensation, performance incentives, profit sharing and potentially an ownership opportunity. We already have residential construction/remodeling projects that could provide initial work while the outside customer base is developed.
