Job Description
C-Miles Construction is a total site contractor - from clearing the property all the way to paving the finished product. We approach every project with a dedication to efficiency and safety. The Pipe Foreman will assist and supervise the installation of water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems. The Pipe Foreman will supervise the lay out, assembly, and installation of various sizes and types of pipe.
Key Duties:
Coordinate and supervise daily activities of a 2-5 person crew. Utilize heavy equipment to excavate, install, and backfill drainage pipe. Sequence pipe installation to reduce interference with other project activities. Continually inspect work site, surveying for potential hazards and safety concerns.Qualification Requirements:
Education & Experience:
This position is not entry level and requires previous experience as a Pipe Foreman. Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with management, fellow employees and owner. Minimum 3-5 years experience required.Physical Demands:
The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by a Pipe Foreman to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least 8 hours per day. Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including the activities of other employees and the operation of stationary and mobile equipment. Must be able to climb on and off heavy equipment safely. Frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather.Job Type:
