Tallahassee, FL We're looking for an experienced Commercial Electrical Site Lead / Working Foreman to run a commercial project in Tallahassee. This job is a complete rewire of an existing commercial building, from the main electrical service all the way through final trim. You'll be leading the crew, but you'll also be one of the crew. If you're looking for a position where you stand around telling everyone else what to do, this isn't it. We need someone we can trust to run the project, keep the crew moving, maintain quality, and communicate with us regularly. The right person will treat this job like it's their own. What We're Looking For At least 10 years of commercial electrical experience. At least 10 years of experience leading crews on commercial electrical projects. You've successfully run commercial jobs from start to finish. You can read blueprints, panel schedules, one-lines, and specifications without someone walking you through them. You know the NEC and understand how commercial jobs are supposed to be built. You're comfortable with every phase of commercial work, including: Electrical services Feeders Switchgear Panelboards Transformers EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit Lighting and lighting controls Branch circuits Equipment hookups Final trim Troubleshooting What You'll Be Doing Running the day-to-day operations of the project. Leading a crew of approximately 4-6 electricians and helpers. Working right alongside your crew every day. Planning daily tasks and keeping everyone productive. Making sure work is done safely, correctly, and on schedule. Coordinating inspections and working with other trades when needed. Keeping track of materials and letting management know what needs to be ordered. Catching problems before they become expensive problems. Sending regular updates on progress, manpower, and anything affecting the job. What We Expect We're looking for someone who leads by example. If your crew is pulling wire, you're pulling wire. If they're bending conduit, you're bending conduit. If something needs to get done, you're willing to jump in and make it happen. We expect our Site Lead to set the tone for the entire project. That means showing up on time, keeping the crew focused, maintaining quality, working safely, and making sure the job keeps moving. You'll have plenty of support from management, but we need someone who can make good decisions without having someone looking over their shoulder all day. The Right Person Is...
