Your expertise will ensure efficient, safe, and code-compliant electrical systems within commercial and industrial environments. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain clean work areas for equipment installation. Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste and comply with specifications and local electrical codes. Install controls and distribution gear, including switches, panel boards, disconnects, and inverters. Analyze and implement proper fastening systems for equipment support. Terminate wiring and equipment as per code or job specifications. Connect power cables to equipment such as disconnects, panel boards, inverters, motors, and transformers per manufacturer specifications and permitted drawings. Prepare sketches or follow diagrams/blueprints to ensure concealed wiring is installed before the completion of walls, ceilings, and flooring. Test circuit continuity to ensure electrical compatibility and safety using instruments like amp probes, clamp meters, and voltage meters. Observe installed equipment or systems to determine hazards and needs for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
