Role:

Join Jones Land Developers as a Pipe Utility Foreman in Macon, GA, where you will lead a skilled team in the installation and maintenance of underground utilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on local infrastructure while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations and coordinate utility installation projects including: sewer lines, water mains. storm drains, underground detention systems Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Manage and train crew members to enhance productivity and efficiency. Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate project documentation. Collaborate with project managers to meet timelines and budget constraints. Resolve any on-site issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding project progress.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in utility construction or related field. Valid driver's license and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid). Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Strong communication skills to interact with diverse teams and clients. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
