The role requires adherence to organizational policies, professional growth, and maintaining practice standards while coordinating patient care activities. Qualifications include a graduate from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's preferred), with no experience needed—new graduates are eligible. Prior hospital experience and a valid Georgia RN license or multistate license are required, along with BCLS certification. Additional certifications may be necessary based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, or chemotherapy/Biotherapy, with some certifications required within 180 days of hire. Specialty areas like Cardiac Tele, Critical Care, Emergency, Dialysis, Pediatrics, Surgical Services, and Women's Services have specific certification requirements. The position is based at Piedmont Macon Medical.
