Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscape construction crews on a variety of projects, including hand digging, grading, moving soils and gravel, machine operations, fence installations, concrete installations, and irrigation system installations. Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards. Pre-order materials and equipment as needed for each project. Maintain a well-organized and fully equipped crew truck. Drive a company vehicle to transport equipment and personnel to job sites. Train and mentor new employees, fostering a positive and productive team environment. Develop work schedules and review assigned tasks to ensure timely completion. Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate project progress with clients and team members. Educate customers about their construction projects and address any questions or concerns. Promote and enforce safety standards and quality workmanship on all job sites. Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the team and company. Qualifications One to two years of experience in landscape construction or a related field. Knowledge of landscape construction planning, execution, and equipment operation. Ability to provide clear direction and leadership to team members. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver's license required. Professional, friendly, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and perform physical labor outdoors for up to 8 hours, including bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching overhead. Self-motivated and able to build strong relationships with clients and employees.
