Demolition Full Job Description Job Title:
Mobile Home Repair Crew - Foreman & Laborer (2 Openings) We're hiring a two-person repair crew to fix up mobile homes for our customers — a foreman to lead the work and a skilled laborer to work alongside them. Both roles are hands-on; you'll both be doing the actual repair work day to day, covering everything from plumbing and sewer repairs to drywall, roofing, and general upkeep. This isn't a desk job — expect to be under homes, in crawl spaces, and on roofs most of the day. Foreman Responsibilities Perform hands-on repair work alongside the laborer (this is a working lead role, not a supervisory-only position) Plan and prioritize daily job tasks and materials needed Make judgment calls on repair approach, especially for plumbing, structural, and electrical issues Ensure work meets safety standards and applicable codes for manufactured housing Communicate with customers/office on job status and any issues found on-site Train and guide the laborer on technique as needed Laborer Responsibilities Assist with and independently perform repair tasks under the foreman's direction Handle physical/manual work: demolition, hauling materials, digging, lifting, cleanup Support plumbing, drywall, flooring, and roofing repairs Learn and take on more complex tasks over time Shared Duties (Both Roles) Diagnose and repair plumbing, including pipes, drains, faucets, and water heaters Repair and unclog sewer and drain lines Patch, replace, and finish drywall and interior walls/ceilings Repair or replace flooring, including subfloor damage from water leaks Inspect and repair roofing for leaks and weather damage Repair or replace windows, doors, seals, and weatherstripping Perform basic electrical repairs (outlets, fixtures, breakers) Inspect and repair skirting, foundation/leveling, and siding Work in crawl spaces to address moisture, pest, or other issues Complete jobs on schedule
Qualifications Foreman:
Several years of hands-on experience in mobile/manufactured home repair or general construction Prior experience leading a small crew preferred Working knowledge of multiple trades (plumbing, drywall, electrical, HVAC, roofing) Comfortable making on-site decisions and troubleshooting problems
Laborer:
Some experience in construction, repair, or general labor preferred (not required — willing to train the right person) Physically able to perform manual labor, including lifting, crawling, and working in tight spaces Willing to learn multiple trades on the job
Both:
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in the work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and outdoors in various weather
Pay:
$28.50 - $40.40 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
