Central, Southwest & Southeast U.S. (Travel Required) About Gregory Construction Gregory Construction is a heavy civil contractor focused on production, safety, and doing the work right the first time. We self-perform critical scopes on infrastructure projects across multiple regions and rely on strong field leadership to keep crews moving and jobs on track. Our teams are built around accountability, communication, and consistent performance in the field. About the Role We're looking for a Civil Foreman who knows how to run work—not just watch it. This is a working leadership role responsible for keeping crews productive, coordinating with the Superintendent, and making sure daily operations stay ahead of schedule. If you've led crews in roadway, drainage, or site work, you understand the importance of planning ahead, managing people and equipment, and solving problems before they slow production. This is a traveling position supporting projects across the Central, Southwest, and Southeast U.S. You'll move with the work, lead from the front, and be expected to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards across changing job sites. This role is best suited for someone who takes ownership of their crew and takes pride in delivering results. Key Responsibilities Lead daily crew operations with a focus on production, safety, and quality Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and workflow Work alongside the crew when needed to keep production on pace Communicate directly with the Superintendent on progress, needs, and issues Track quantities, productivity, and complete daily reports and timesheets Ensure proper use, care, and basic maintenance of equipment Identify and resolve issues before they impact schedule or performance Enforce company safety policies and jobsite standards Qualifications Required 5+ years of civil construction experience At least 1 year leading crews as a Foreman or Lead Experience in roadway, drainage, grading, milling, or paving operations Valid driver's license Willingness and ability to travel and relocate with projects Strong leadership, communication, and crew management skills Preferred OSHA 10 (or willingness to obtain) Experience on DOT or large-scale civil projects What We're Looking For Foremen who keep crews productive and jobs moving Leaders who take ownership and don't wait for direction Strong communicators who can manage both crews and expectations Reliable field leaders who show up ready to perform Why Gregory Construction?
