Job Description
Skillforce is currently hiring a Bilingual Waterproofing Lead Foreman to join our team. This position is based in Baton Rouge, LA. with 40+ hours per week and heavy travel across the United States (lodging provided + $30/day per diem). The Foreman will lead crews applying and inspecting a wide range of waterproofing and sealant systems for commercial projects. Pay for this role is up to $25/hr depending upon experience. Responsibilities Supervise crews in the installation of: Waterproofing systems (membrane, hot-applied, bentonite, vapor barriers) Damp proofing applications (spray, brush, trowel) Joint sealants (silicone, latex, fire caulking, structural, cosmetic) Security sealants, traffic coatings, epoxy coatings, and air barriers Expansion joints (interior and exterior) and plaza deck waterproofing systems Perform epoxy crack injection and concrete repair work Inspect projects for leaks or failures and ensure repairs meet quality standards Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Enforce job site safety protocols Requirements 3+ years of waterproofing/caulking or related construction experience (supervisory preferred) Hands-on experience with multiple sealant, coating, and barrier systems Valid driver's license (required) Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings Ability to travel extensively (home on weekends) Strong communication and leadership skills Physically able to work outdoors in various conditions Speak and understand English and Spanish fluently Benefits Weekly pay Company vehicle Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Lodging + $30/day per diem when traveling Tools provided
