Full Job Description Lead Fireproofing Applicator Location:
New England Pay:
$40-$50 per hour, based on experience
Experience Required:
Minimum 7 years of commercial fireproofing experience

This is an opportunity for a seasoned fireproofing professional to take ownership in the field, work on major commercial and industrial projects throughout New England, and help develop the next generation of applicators. At Kaloutas, your experience will be respected, your leadership will matter, and your hard work will be recognized. What You'll Do Lead fireproofing crews on commercial and industrial job sites Apply spray-applied fire-resistive materials accurately and efficiently Set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot fireproofing equipment Read project plans, specifications, and product requirements Plan daily work and communicate expectations to the crew Monitor production, material usage, quality, and job progress Ensure proper surface preparation, application thickness, and finished quality Train and mentor less-experienced applicators Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Complete required job-site and safety documentation Represent Kaloutas professionally with customers and project partners What We're Looking For At least 7 years of hands-on commercial fireproofing experience Strong knowledge of spray-applied fireproofing materials, equipment, and application methods Previous crew leadership or foreman experience Ability to produce high-quality work while meeting project schedules Experience reading plans, specifications, and job-site requirements Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Commitment to job-site safety and accountability Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working at heights Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel to job sites throughout New England as needed Why Join Kaloutas?
