This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of assigned projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with NFPA standards and company quality expectations. The Foreman will lead a helper on the job site and work closely with the Field Operations Manager, who provides overall support, scheduling, and oversight across all field projects. Responsibilities Lead the installation of commercial and residential fire sprinkler systems. Supervise and direct their helper, providing training and daily guidance. Plan and organize daily work activities to maintain project schedules. Read and interpret sprinkler plans, blueprints, and specifications. Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards, local codes, and project requirements. Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, and other trades on site. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Identify field issues and communicate solutions with the Field Operations Manager. Verify material needs and communicate shortages before they impact production. Perform quality checks throughout the installation process. Maintain daily progress reports and communicate project updates. Represent Tristar professionally with customers, contractors, and inspectors. Ensure company tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly maintained. Mentor and develop helpers into skilled sprinkler fitters. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of fire sprinkler installation experience. Previous experience leading projects or crews preferred. Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire sprinkler installation practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and sprinkler plans. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Field Operations Manager. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
