Job Description
Job Overview Are you an experienced commercial HVAC sheet metal professional who enjoys leading crews and delivering high-quality work? Anchor Mechanical is looking for a Ductwork Field Supervisor to oversee commercial HVAC ductwork installation projects and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. In this role, you'll lead field installation crews, coordinate with project managers and other trades, interpret project drawings, and ensure ductwork installations meet quality expectations, SMACNA standards, and local building codes. You'll play a key role in keeping projects on schedule while providing leadership, accountability, and technical expertise in the field. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee commercial HVAC sheet metal installation crews on a day-to-day basis. Assign daily tasks, monitor labor productivity, and ensure projects remain on schedule. Read and interpret HVAC plans, architectural drawings, and project specifications to coordinate ductwork installation. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure installations meet SMACNA standards, project specifications, and local mechanical codes. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to prevent scheduling conflicts and jobsite clashes. Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations on all job sites. Provide field leadership, troubleshooting support, and guidance to installation crews. Maintain clear communication with project managers and field personnel throughout each project. Required Qualifications 3-5+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal or ductwork installation experience. Previous leadership experience as a foreman, lead installer, or similar role. Strong knowledge of commercial ductwork installation, airflow systems, insulation, sealing methods, and mechanical codes. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, HVAC plans, and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification. Experience supervising commercial construction projects. Familiarity with SMACNA standards and quality control procedures. Relevant state or local trade certifications.
