Full-Time, Permanent Our client is a well-established, growth-oriented electrical contractor serving Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia. They specialize in residential, multifamily projects, and commercial work (retail, office fit-outs, medical offices, restaurants). They pride themselves on quality craftsmanship, safety, and long-term client relationships. Position Overview They are seeking an experienced, Maryland-licensed Electrical Foreman who can lead residential and commercial projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can run crews of 4-12 electricians and apprentices, read plans, manage materials, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. This is NOT a "clipboard-only" role — you will be expected to pull wire, troubleshoot, and terminate when needed. Key Requirements Active Maryland Journeyman or Master Electrician license (DC or VA license is a plus) Minimum 5+ years of field experience with both residential AND commercial projects Fluent/bi-lingual in English and Spanish (must be able to give clear instructions and safety talks in both languages)(Preferred) Strong working knowledge of NEC 2023, Maryland state amendments, and local county codes Experience with service upgrades, new construction, remodels, lighting controls, fire alarm rough-ins, and low-voltage is preferred Proficient reading blueprints, performing take-offs, and ordering materials OSHA 30-hour certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days) Clean driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screen Daily Responsibilities Lead and supervise crews of electricians and apprentices on residential and commercial job sites Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors Layout and install electrical systems per plans and code Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality, safety, and schedule requirements Conduct daily safety tailgate meetings (in English and Spanish) Manage material lists, deliveries, and tool/equipment inventory Troubleshoot complex issues in the field Complete daily reports, time sheets, and change-order documentation
