Construction Foreman Shaw Brothers Construction, Inc. - Gorham, Maine Shaw Brothers Construction, Inc., one of Southern Maine's leading earthwork and paving contractors, is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated leader who can safely manage crews, coordinate daily operations, and deliver high-quality work on excavation, utility, and site development. Responsibilities Supervise and lead construction crews on job sites. Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects stay on schedule. Read and interpret plans, specifications, and grade stakes. Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Monitor productivity, quality, and equipment utilization. Train and mentor. Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with supervisory or foreman experience preferred. Strong knowledge of earthwork, utilities, grading, and site development. Ability to read blueprints and construction plans. Strong leadership and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
