We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our Infant & Toddler team! This is a wonderful opportunity for an early childhood professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships with young children and working as part of a collaborative teaching team. What You'll Do As an Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside our teaching team to create a responsive, play-based environment that supports the development of the whole child.
You will:
Support the planning and implementation of daily curriculum activities using The Creative Curriculum and the Maine Early Childhood Learning Guidelines Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where children feel safe and supported Encourage child-led exploration, curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning Model age-appropriate social skills, communication, and problem-solving Build positive and welcoming relationships with children and their families Greet and communicate with parents and caregivers throughout the day Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development Work collaboratively with your teaching team to provide consistent, high-quality care Candidates must be comfortable working with children ranging from 6 months to 2½ years old . Toddle Inn is open Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM-5:30 PM. What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of childcare experience preferred A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting early development Reliable , dependable, and able to work as part of a team Willingness and ability to complete a federal background check CDA or ECE degree preferred We are committed to supporting the educational growth of the right candidate
Pay:
$16.00
•$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
