About us: We are a small family owned company providing quality, not value. We work mostly in Livingston, Oakland and Genessee Counties. We do not believe in cutting corners to save time. We love to have fun on the job and its easy to do when you are doing what you love. We build Pole Barns and Decks.
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee Roofing construction projects from start to finish.
Duties:
- Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and meeting quality control standards.
- Manage and coordinate construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other skilled tradespeople.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with construction blueprints and schematics, and address any issues that may arise.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
- Utilize an ohmmeter to test electrical systems and identify potential issues.
- Develop and maintain a safe and clean construction site, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to develop and implement project plans.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
- Identify and address potential construction issues, and develop corrective action plans when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or equivalent role.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate construction teams.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality control and safety.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in a construction site setting.
