In this vital role, you will oversee the removal and containment of asbestos-containing materials, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards. Your expertise will guide project teams through complex remediation efforts, promoting a safe work environment while delivering exceptional results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence health and safety standards across construction, restoration, and mold remediation projects. Responsibilities Supervise asbestos abatement operations, ensuring all activities meet OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and environmental regulations. Train and mentor team members on proper asbestos handling, removal techniques, and safety procedures. Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project transparency and adherence to legal requirements. Oversee cleanup operations for restoration or mold remediation projects involving hazardous materials. Experience Proven experience in asbestos abatement or related construction fields with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams during hazardous material removal or remediation projects. Knowledge of asbestos removal techniques, containment methods, and waste disposal procedures. Background in construction or restoration projects involving hazardous materials like mold or other environmental contaminants is preferred. Certifications in asbestos abatement supervision are highly desirable; ongoing training in OSHA standards is essential. Ability to assess job sites accurately, prioritize safety measures, and implement effective solutions swiftly.
