Responsibilities:

Utilize standard electrical testing equipment Troubleshoot electrical issues Collaborate with and assist other trades departments as needed Apply knowledge of policies and procedure followed within the Electrical Division and company Run any size project from start to finish Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and estimators Strong understanding of turn-key industrial process Ability to lead multiple crews on larger projects Train apprentices and journeyman electricians Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes Adhere to company safety standards and procedures

Requirements:

Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required Minimum of 8 years' experience in an industrial electrical role Able to read blueprints and schematics proficiently to determine the scope of work locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required Understands various aspects of an industrial facility including structural, electrical, plumbing systems, etc. Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical code and apply it daily while on the job Ability to Install Specialty Systems, Hazardous, Medium Voltage, Building Control Disconnect and Reconnect Manufactured Equipment, Presses, Weld Cells Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC guidelines

Preferred Requirements:

Transformers Medium Voltage Medium Voltage Terminations Equipment & tool experience: Aerial

• Boom & Scissor Lift Forklift Operation
• Material Handling up to 5000# Basic Operation of trucks and equipment Trailer Loading and securing of construction material Telehandler Skid Steer
• Material Handling Meter usage

Meggers Rigging Requirements:

Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials. Use & recognize limitations of chains, synthetic, metal mesh and wire rope slings Use & recognize rigging hardware including hooks, shackles, wire rope clips, clamps, eye bolts, softeners and tag lines Identifies common load configurations & positioning Calculate load weights Rigger 2 training

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height. Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment. Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Must be able to work in cold/hot environments. Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
