Responsibilities:
Assist with coordination of materials, labor, and equipment. Order, inventory, and receive material. Responsible for training and developing apprentices. Ensure all safety procedures and quality standards are followed. Work with other departments as needed Lead crews on both small and large projects Communicate with customers, project managers, and estimators regarding job status Adhere to company safety standards and policies Train apprentices and craftsman on the jobRequirements:
Measure, cut, and bend various sizes of pipe and tubing to required angle/length using pipe cutters and benders. Threading and assembling pipe of various thicknesses, and finishes Groove and assemble pipe. Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications. Install valves, hangers, supports and flanges in piping systems according to plans and applicable specifications. Assemble, install, and repair piping systems according to specifications and appropriate trade and building codes.Preferred Requirements:
Stick welding Tig welding Lockout tagout Can administer first-aid Understanding of accident reports/incident reports Equipment experience: Aerial- lift Operation
- Boom & Scissor Lift Threader & Groover Forklift Operation
- Material Handling up to 5000#
Telehandler Chauffeur LIC/Med DOT Physical Trailer Loading and Securing of Material Rigging Requirements:
Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials. Use & recognize limitations of chains, synthetic, metal mesh and wire rope slings Use & recognize rigging hardware including hooks, shackles, wire rope clips, clamps, eye bolts, softeners and tag lines Identifies common load configurations & positioning Calculate load weights Rigger 2 training- trains on above
