Job Description

Fire Sprinkler Superintendent We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial fire sprinkler projects. This is an opportunity for a strong field leader who understands sprinkler installation from the ground up and knows how to keep projects, manpower and schedules moving.
Responsibilities:
Oversee fire sprinkler installation on commercial and new construction projects Supervise and coordinate field crews, foremen, fitters and apprentices Plan manpower and allocate field resources across active projects Review drawings, specifications, schedules and project requirements Coordinate material, equipment and jobsite needs Work closely with Project Managers, designers, GCs and other trades Monitor project schedules, productivity and labor hours Conduct jobsite visits and address field issues before they impact the project Ensure installations meet NFPA standards, approved drawings and applicable codes Maintain quality control throughout installation Enforce company and jobsite safety requirements Coordinate inspections, testing and project closeout Assist with troubleshooting installation and constructability issues Mentor and develop field personnel Maintain communication between the field and office throughout each project
Qualifications:
5+ years of fire sprinkler field experience preferred Previous Foreman, General Foreman or Superintendent experience Strong knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action and fire sprinkler systems New construction experience strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret sprinkler drawings, blueprints and specifications Strong understanding of NFPA 13 and applicable fire codes Experience managing multiple crews and/or projects Strong manpower planning and scheduling abilities Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively with General Contractors, Project Managers and field personnel NICET certification is a plus Valid driver's license and clean driving record What's In It for
