Job Title:
Electrical Foreman Job Description The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction projects or industrial facilities. This role involves leading electricians and apprentices, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining compliance with electrical codes, company standards, and project specifications. Responsibilities Supervise and direct electrical crews on construction and maintenance projects. Plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities to meet project schedules. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and work orders. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce requirements. Conduct job-site safety meetings and enforce company safety policies. Train, mentor, and evaluate electricians, helpers, and apprentices. Communicate project updates, issues, and resource needs to project managers and superintendents. Perform quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets project standards. Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project progress. Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Essential Skills Proficient in electrical work, including conduit installation, wiring, and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings. Experience with installation, inspection, and repair of electrical systems. Knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication skills for reporting and coordination. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction and industrial environments. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
