Full Job Description Traveling Electrical Foreman Commercial & Industrial Electrical Construction Pay:
$33-$35/hour
Location:
Greensboro, NC We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to supervise the installation, alteration, repair, and maintenance of commercial and industrial electrical systems. This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone who can manage crews, plan work in advance, coordinate with other trades, and ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and the NEC. What You'll Do Supervise Helpers, Electricians, Leadmen, and Area Foremen assigned to the project Plan and lay out electrical work based on project schedules, drawings, and specifications Create short-term look-ahead schedules and pre-task plans Coordinate daily work with the Superintendent and Field Operations Manager Track labor and submit accurate daily time sheets Attend project meetings and coordinate with other trades and owner representatives Maintain required project files, forms, and documentation Monitor crew productivity, workmanship, and overall performance Evaluate and develop field personnel Ensure electrical installations meet NEC, safety, and project requirements What We're Looking For 7+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience Previous Foreman or field leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of the current National Electrical Code Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Experience with conduit bending, knockout tools, power tools, and standard electrical hand tools Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to coordinate effectively with field teams and other trades Journeyman Card or state electrical license preferred, but not required Additional Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to and from project sites Ability to use company vehicles when required Ability to provide and use standard hand tools as required for the position This is a strong opportunity for an experienced electrical professional ready to take ownership of field execution and lead crews on commercial and industrial projects. $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
