Electrical Foreman Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and managing electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will oversee a team of electricians and collaborate with other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.Duties:
- Supervise and manage electrical construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA guidelines
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Provide guidance and support to electricians on the job site
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, work orders, and change orders
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices
- Proficiency in using Prolog, Bluebeam, Primavera or similar construction management software
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and specifications
- Experience in construction estimating and cost control
- Knowledge of quality control processes in electrical construction
