In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations on commercial roofing sites, coordinate skilled teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate roofing crews on commercial sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes. Manage construction estimating tasks related to roofing projects, including material quantities and labor requirements. Operate and oversee the use of power tools, hand tools, scaffolding, and other equipment necessary for roofing installation and repair. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance; address any issues promptly. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and project flow. Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and other physical tasks required for roofing installation or restoration work. Skills Extensive construction site experience with a focus on roofing projects. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to construction. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques. EPDM, TPO, Modified roofing skills Familiarity with construction estimating processes for materials and labor costs. Ability to read schematics for plumbing systems or other building components as needed. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to roofing operations; committed to maintaining a safe work environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while coordinating with clients and project stakeholders.
