Landscaping Full Job Description Landscape Construction Foreman Pay:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour (based on experience) We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in building high-quality outdoor spaces and has the experience to lead a crew from start to finish. The primary focus of this position is hardscape construction , including patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, and other masonry projects. The ideal candidate will also be well-rounded in all aspects of landscape construction, including irrigation installation, drainage, grading, planting, and lawn installation. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a landscape construction crew while maintaining a safe and productive jobsite. Build patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, and other hardscape features to the highest standards. Install irrigation systems, drainage systems, plantings, and complete landscape installations. Read and interpret landscape plans and construction drawings. Operate and oversee the use of excavators, skid steers, loaders, compactors, and other construction equipment. Coordinate daily jobsite activities, materials, and equipment. Ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality. Train and mentor crew members. Communicate professionally with project managers, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of landscape construction experience . Previous experience leading a construction crew. Strong knowledge of hardscape installation methods and industry best practices. Experience installing irrigation systems, drainage, and landscape plantings. Ability to read and understand construction plans. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions. Valid driver's license required. CDL preferred.
