!Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes to ensure compliance
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Perform heavy lifting as required for equipment and materials
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete plumbing tasks
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to complete projects
- Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing problems in a timely manner
- Perform pipe threading, soldering, welding, and other necessary tasks
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve plumbing issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
