About The Company SLG Services, Inc. performs turnkey outside-plant (OSP) telecom construction — aerial and underground placement, fiber and coax splicing, testing and restoration — as a single self-performing partner to leading communications providers. The Role Advanced journey-level technician performing the most complex OSP install, maintenance, diagnosis, testing and repair; can act as lead on a crew. Compensation for this role will be production. Responsibilities
  • Perform the most difficult/complex fiber and coax installations, maintenance and repair.
  • Aerial, Underground, and ISP fiber optic and CATV installation.
  • Lead and guide install/construction crew members; serve as on-site lead hand.
  • Interpret complex prints/specs; verify quality against Comcast standards.
  • Maintain documentation, as-builts and inventory of tools/test gear. Qualifications
  • 4+ yrs telecom/OSP field experience.
  • Proven fiber & coax construction/testing capability.
  • Valid driver's license; certified pole climber a plus. Company Values
