Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Plumbing Foreman, where you will lead and oversee plumbing projects on commercial and residential sites. This pivotal role involves managing daily operations, coordinating skilled tradespeople, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and delivering high-quality plumbing installations and repairs. As a Plumbing Foreman, you will be the driving force behind efficient project execution, maintaining strict compliance with local building codes and plumbing regulations while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate plumbing activities on construction sites, including pipe installation, system maintenance, and repairs. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of plumbing systems. Manage the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other necessary tools to complete tasks efficiently. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and mechanical standards. Oversee the installation of gas piping systems, HVAC components, and complex plumbing systems for commercial and residential projects. Maintain safety protocols by conducting regular site inspections, enforcing safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety among team members. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards. Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and system upgrades on plumbing systems as needed. Lead heavy lifting operations safely and coordinate with other trades such as carpentry or handyman services during remodeling or renovation projects. Document progress through detailed reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders about project status or issues. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance in commercial or residential settings. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and schematics related to plumbing systems. Hands-on experience with welding techniques and pipe threading for gas piping systems or heavy-duty pipe installation. Knowledge of building code compliance specific to local regulations governing plumbing systems. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and best practices for field service operations. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and general construction plumbing is highly desirable. Experience working with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment safely while performing heavy lifting tasks. Strong organizational skills with basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting or layout planning. Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with clients during service calls or remodeling projects. Pay:
$36.31 - $45.00 per hour
