Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Low Voltage/Systems Integration Foreman to lead and oversee systems installations across the two markets we serve: luxury residential and commercial . You'll work in custom high-end homes and in offices, hospitality, retail and other commercial spaces. This role involves leading field crews, coordinating job site schedules, reviewing technical drawings, and making sure all work meets our standards for quality, safety and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in both luxury residential and commercial environments, and a thorough understanding of systems integration across control, audio, lighting, network, security, surveillance and cabling. As a key part of our field operations team, you will drive project success from rough-in through final commissioning while keeping job sites safe and productive and delivering an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities Lead and supervise crews in the installation, testing and commissioning of low voltage systems for both luxury residential and commercial projects, including: Control and automation , including whole-home automation and commercial room and building control Audio and video , including distributed audio, home theater, background music and paging Conferencing systems , including conference rooms, huddle spaces, boardrooms and Microsoft Teams/Zoom Rooms Lighting control , including residential keypads, panels and shades, plus commercial lighting control Networking , including routers, switches, wireless and rack/IDF/MDF infrastructure Comm/data and structured cabling , including Cat6/6A, fiber, coax and backbone cabling, with termination, labeling and certification testing Access control , including card readers, door hardware integration and credential systems Security and surveillance , including alarm systems, IP cameras, NVRs and VMS platforms Coordinate daily and weekly schedules with project managers, general contractors, builders and other trades so projects finish on time. Review floor plans, construction documents, low voltage drawings, schematics and rack elevations to interpret project requirements accurately. Oversee every project phase, from pre-wire and rough-in to trim-out and finish, holding crews to a clean, professional standard in homes and commercial spaces alike. Conduct regular site walkthroughs to monitor progress, enforce OSHA safety practices and protect client property. Oversee quality control, including rack builds, terminations, labeling, cable certification and full system testing before handoff. Communicate professionally with homeowners, business owners, GCs, designers, facility managers and team members to manage expectations and resolve issues promptly. Mentor and train technicians to build a skilled, dependable install team.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
experience in both luxury/high-end residential and commercial low voltage / systems integration. 5+ years of field experience in low voltage or systems integration, including at least 2 years in a lead or foreman role. Hands-on experience with Control, Audio, Lighting, Network, Security, Surveillance and Cabling systems. Experience with commercial comm/data installations, conferencing systems and access control. Working knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA) and cable certification practices. Proven ability to lead crews, manage priorities and deliver high-quality work on schedule. Skilled in reading floor plans, construction drawings and low voltage schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills with test equipment such as multimeters, cable certifiers (Fluke or similar) and network tools. Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and job site safety practices. Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional presence with high-end homeowners and commercial clients. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred (Not Required) Residential platforms such as Control4, Savant, Crestron, Lutron, Josh.ai, Sonos or Alarm.com. Commercial platforms such as Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron, Biamp, Shure, Microsoft Teams Rooms/Zoom Rooms, Avigilon, Axis, Genetec, Verkada or Brivo. Networking platforms such as Ubiquiti, Araknis, Access Networks, Cisco/Meraki or Aruba. Manufacturer, CEDIA, AVIXA (CTS), BICSI or
OSHA 10/30
certifications.

Experience with Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Procore or Bluebeam is not required for this role. $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
