Heavy Commercial and Data Centers Location:

Reno, NV Electrical Foreman Overview We are partnering with a leading national electrical contractor to identify an experienced Electrical Foreman for large-scale, heavy commercial and data center projects in the Reno market. This individual will lead crews in the field, coordinate daily electrical installations, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on field leader who understands commercial electrical construction, takes pride in developing crews, and has a proven record of delivering quality work on schedule and within budget.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Lead and supervise electrical crews up to 15-20 employees Plan and coordinate daily field activities, manpower, materials, tools, and equipment Oversee commercial electrical installations from layout through testing and completion Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and wiring systems Ensure installations comply with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and project documentation Verify dimensions, equipment locations, alignments, and clearances before installation Track field productivity and adjust manpower or work plans to maintain the project schedule Coordinate with project management, general contractors, other trades, and field personnel Identify field conflicts early and develop practical solutions that minimize delays and rework Enforce company safety requirements and maintain a safety-first jobsite culture Mentor journeymen and apprentices while building a productive, accountable field team Properly maintain and secure company tools and equipment

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman on heavy commercial or data center projects Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, installations, and construction sequencing Ability to read and execute work from blueprints, electrical drawings, and project specifications Excellent working knowledge of applicable electrical and building codes Proven record of delivering safe, quality projects on schedule and within budget Strong manpower planning, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively with project leadership, field teams, customers, and other trades Journeyman Electrician license or certification preferred Experience operating commercial electrical tools and equipment Ability to work overtime or night shifts when project schedules require it Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting more than 50 pounds
