In this role, you will be responsible for executing residential remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations and safety standards. Your expertise will help clients realize their dream spaces, whether updating kitchens, bathrooms, or entire home interiors and exteriors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your construction skills and passion for creating beautiful, functional living environments. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and project specifications to accurately execute remodeling tasks. Perform demolition, carpentry, drywall installation, flooring, window and glass installation, and trim carpentry with precision. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently on various job sites. Install building materials such as flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, and hardware in accordance with project requirements. Conduct plumbing and electrical work where necessary, adhering to safety protocols and building codes. Manage outdoor hardscaping projects including hardscape construction and landscaping elements like patios or walkways. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, construction plans, and quality expectations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs using construction estimating techniques and track project progress. Inspect completed work for quality assurance through construction inspection practices before project handover. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project milestones are met on time. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on residential remodeling or building renovation projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to remodeling tasks. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints (including Bluebeam digital plans), and construction plans. Experience in plumbing, electrical work, flooring installation, window installation, glass installation, and trim carpentry is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety protocols specific to construction sites and outdoor work environments. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
