Job Description Job Description Job Description Electrical General Foreman - Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to oversee daily operations at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and extensive experience in electrical construction management. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of specific construction sites Coordinate site deliveries and material management Assign and plan daily tasks for mechanics, junior mechanics, and helpers Create and submit detailed daily reports to the office Develop and maintain two-week lookahead schedules (Work with Super/PM to maintain overall project schedule) Adhere to and meet or exceed construction schedule milestones Coordinate priority tasks within schedule Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes Supervise and mentor electrical team members Collaborate with project managers and other construction teams Required Qualifications Masters or Journeyman electrical license strongly preferred 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical General Foreman Strong organizational and leadership skills Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical plans Experience with construction scheduling and resource planning Excellent written and verbal communication skills Reliable transportation Knowledge of current electrical codes and safety standards Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced environments OSHA 30 Card 62 Hour Site Safety Training Card Preferred Qualifications Experience with construction management and scheduling software Proficiency in Microsoft Office Advanced certifications in electrical specialties CPR safety training Physical Requirements Ability to work in various weather conditions Standing/walking for extended periods Occasional lifting and carrying of materials Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Healthcare benefits Retirement plan options Paid time off Opportunity for career advancement Qualified candidates should submit their resume and references for consideration.
