In this role, you will oversee daily site operations, manage skilled crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. Your leadership will drive project success from initial planning through completion, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Lead and supervise sheet metal installation teams on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Review construction drawings and technical plans to interpret blueprints accurately and coordinate installation activities accordingly. Manage project schedules using construction management software such as ProCore to ensure timely completion of tasks. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align schedules, resolve issues, and maintain workflow continuity. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control standards, safety protocols (including OSHA and federal safety regulations), and adherence to construction regulations. Oversee budgeting activities related to crew management, material procurement, and equipment usage; ensure cost-effective resource allocation. Supervise crew management activities including training, performance evaluations, safety briefings, and enforcing construction safety management practices. Review and interpret technical drawings and blueprints; ensure proper installation of sheet metal components. Maintain incident reports, safety records, and project logs. Ensure compliance with all federal construction safety regulations while fostering a culture of safety awareness among team members. Experience Proven experience in commercial construction projects with a focus on sheet metal installation or related trades. Strong knowledge of commercial installation and fabrication. Ability to read construction drawings and specifications. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred, but not required. Valid driver's license required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (Independently), work on ladders, lifts, and rooftops. Excellent managerial communication skills necessary for effective team leadership, conflict resolution, and client interactions.
