BASIC FUNCTIONS
The Civil Foreman is responsible for coordinating and supervising daily civil construction activities on assigned projects. This role provides hands‑on field leadership to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, schedules, and quality standards. The Civil Foreman directs crews, manages site logistics, performs manual work as needed, and supports project leadership by maintaining productivity, organization, and jobsite standards.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Leadership & Coordination Coordinate daily work tasks according to project priorities and plans. Allocate daily and general responsibilities to crew members. Monitor crew attendance, productivity, and performance. Supervise and assist workers and tradespeople as required. Safety, Quality & Equipment Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met at all times. Enforce company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements. Supervise the proper use of tools, machinery, and construction equipment. Address field issues and resolve problems as they arise. Execution, Reporting & Jobsite Management Report daily progress, issues, and resource needs to the Superintendent or Project Manager. Perform manual construction work when required, either independently or alongside crew members. Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and overall site standards. Assist with site logistics and coordination to support schedule requirements. Professional Responsibilities Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, subcontractors, suppliers, and project leadership. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and the Employee Manual. Promote teamwork, accountability, and positive jobsite morale. Submit required reports and information accurately and on time. Maintain confidentiality of company and project‑related information.Education/qualifications:
5+ years of construction experience in civil construction Strong knowledge of construction processes, practices, and techniques. Demonstrated ability to manage site logistics and day‑to‑day field operations. Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and plans. Knowledge of standard construction materials and installation procedures. Extensive knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.BENEFITS
