An ideal candidate will have prior experience with general residential construction, will have a positive attitude and will partner with owners to foster a safe environment. Candidate will be responsible for leading a small crew and safely and respectfully using all supplied company tools and equipment. Candidate will be willing to adhere to company dress code; shirts and sweatshirts will be provided. Responsibilities Interpret detailed project plans to successfully lead construction crew to complete projects on time, including meeting all safety and code enforcement standards. Maintain open communication with company owners to provide regular status updates. Coordinate with team members on heavy equipment operation and other site logistics. Perform a variety of construction activities including deck building, bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, basement finishing, siding, framing, drywall installation and finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, trim carpentry and more. Operate power tools and hand tools efficiently while also guiding new team members to do the same. Foster high level of consistency and attention to detail on all jobs. Manage demolition, site clean-up and safety on all job sites. Qualifications Preferred 5+ years of construction experience Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable mode of transportation Basic understanding of materials and code requirements preferred Experience acting in supervisory manner Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including kneeling, bending, and working on uneven terrain. Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
